Sedona - Cottonwood: Out of Africa Wildlife Park

Out of Africa Wildlife Park is Arizona's only wildlife theme park, and possibly the area's best family adventure.

The park is generally open Wednesday - Sunday and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Check the park's website for specifics during your visit to the area. You should allow at least 4 hours to see all the park has to offer.

General admission to the park includes all the tours and activities below:

• Serengeti Safari:
  Ride safari vehicles among giraffe, wildebeest, zebra and other animals of the African plains. Open Wednesday - Sunday all day.
• Wildlife Preserve:
  Ride or walk within a preserve of large predators such as lions, tigers, panthers and hyena as they prowl their natural environments. Open Wednesday - Sunday all day.
• Predator Feed:
  Watch as animal caretakers toss 800 pounds of raw meat to eagerly awaiting carnivores.  The predator feed occurs on Wednesday, Friday, Sunday at 3 PM.
• Giant Snake Show:
  It's more than a thrill! Wrap-up with the world's largest species of snakes-Anacondas, Pythons & Boas. The snake show occurs on Thursday and Saturday at 3 PM.
